Bank DKI Cooperates with PMI Jakarta

Bank DKI cooperates with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Jakarta chapter to facilitate the citizens in giving their donations. By this cooperation, the citizens can give their donation through Bank DKI's ATM (Automatic Teller Machine).

This cooperation is also a follow-up from the Governor's Direction

The cooperation was signed by General Director Bank DKI, Eko Budiwiyono and Indonesian Red Cross Jakarta Chapter Head, Rini Sutiyoso, in the closing ceremony of PMI monthly fund in Jakarta, Tuesday (2/17).

Bank DKI Targeted to Open 52 Offices

Budiwiyono admitted to welcome the cooperation. "This is one of Bank DKI efforts to support Indonesian Red Cross Jakarta Chapter and increase the citizen's standard of living. Moreover, the donators will be not charged by additional cost if they donate to the Red Cross using Bank DKI's ATM card or other Banks' ATM card," he admitted.

"After using Bank DKI's ATM, the customers will be given offers to donate of Rp 5,000 to the Red Cross," he continued.

Budiwiyono added, Bank DKI gives the full support of this donation programs. Moreover, the Bank DKI's ATM also spread to Jakarta sub-districts that will give better assist of this fundraiser.

"Obviously, this cooperation will facilitate the Jakarta PMI. Especially, this system is also in accordance with Jakarta Governor's advice not to use the coupon anymore. Then, I guess this cooperation is the solution for all people, especially the customers. They are not only able to do banking transaction, but also can do charity through the Jakarta," added Budiwiyono.

Indonesian Red Cross Jakarta Chapter Head, Rini Sutiyoso also welcomed this cooperation.

"This cooperation is also a follow-up from the Governor's Direction," said Sutiyoso.

As information, besides cooperating with Red Cross, Bank DKI also received award from Jakarta Provincial Government in giving donation of Rp 75 million rupiah for humanitarian social assistance.
